I WANT TO LIVE - In 2019 alone, 370 people lost their lives to transphobia
In the beginning of 2020 I created a piece to commemorate my trans sisters, brothers and siblings. We wrote the names of people who lost their lives to transphobia and created a trans flag coloured mural - but there were too many to fit all of them on a wall. This project was created together with my friends - a group of queer and trans people, as well as allies. As we wrote each name and age of their passing we were in a special moment together, connected by grief.
